Make good choices.

Yesterday's post focused on ways you can help improve the health of others. Today, I encourage you to visit www.everydaychoices.org to learn how you can improve your own health. Everydaychoices.org is a project of the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, and the American Diabetes Association. They offer lots of small steps you can take every day to improve your health. On the site, you can learn how to:

* Eat right.

* Get active.

* Quit smoking.

* See your doctor for prevention, screening and treatment.

While you're there, check out the numerous tools you can use to assess your health status and keep track of your progress. Good luck, have fun, and here's to good health!
