Every two seconds, someone needs blood. You can help meet this need by donating a pint of your own. Blood donation only takes hour or so, and it's something most of us can spare. Your body will make more and you'll be able to donate again in 56 days. Blood drives happen everywhere, all the time. Contact local hospitals and blood banks for a drive in your area. Giving blood saves lives! In many areas, blood centers struggle daily to meet the needs of hosptial patients and more donors are needed.
